제목 Micro-patterned tin dioxide nanowires for all-solid-state lithium ion batteries
초록 Tin dioxide (SnO2) has been considered as anode electrode materials for the next-generation battery systems because of its high theoretical capacity (ca. 782 mAh/g). All-solid-state lithium ion batteries (ASS-LIBs) are expected as one of promising alternatives due to their improved energy density and excellent safety features compared to those of conventional LIBs. In the present work, one-dimensional SnO2 nanowires (NWs) were directly grown on current collectors via a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) to enlarge the surface area in contact with the solid electrolyte. Furthermore, micro-patterned SnO2 nanowires electrode was fabricated using photolithography method, which improves interfacial contact with the solid electrolyte and provides lithium ion pathway into SnO2 NWs. The composite solid electrolyte consisting of polyethylene oxide (PEO) and lithium salt with the ceramic fillers of Al-doped Li7La3Zr2O12 was infiltrated into SnO2 NWs. This electrolyte could prevent physically the volume expansion of SnO2 NWs and help to suppress the deformation of the electrodes.
