제목 | Generation of a Bimetallic Oxide Catalyst for CO2 Hydrogenation to Liquid Hydrocarbon Fuel |
초록 | Due to the emerging energy crisis, alternative liquid hydrocarbon fuel from CO2 hydrogenation is a quite innovative approach to reduce the rising environmental impact. In the present work, a Cobalt-Metal oxide catalyst (CoMOx) is designed and the effect of promoter on the structure and activity of Co-based Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis (FTS) catalyst is investigated. The CoMOx catalyst produces a high C5+ yield of 16.2 % at a low temperature of 270 °C with a CO2 conversion of 57.8 %. The bimetallic oxide facilitates the generation of active sites efficient for chain-growth reaction at a space velocity of 4000 mlg-1h-1 employing an H2/CO2 ratio of 3:1. The insertion of promoter enhances C5+ selectivity and is beneficial for reducing the undesired methane production under operating conditions. |
