Preparation of PEGMA-co-PFPMA polymer brushes via surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization (SI-ATRP). |
초록 |
Polymer brushes are the attractive means to control surface properties of biomaterials. The modification of surface with PEG effectively eliminates the protein adsorption. Furthermore, FPMA including aldehyde functional group can bond with a variety of bio-substances such as protein and DNA. In this study, polymer brushes, poly(poly(ethyleneglycol)methacrylate-co-4-formylphenyl methacrylate), were synthesized via surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization (SI-ATRP) technique as a 'grafting from' method that could be high density polymer. For SI-ATRP incorporation of bromine-containing material as the initiating moiety of ATRP to glass slide was performating. ATRP copolymerization of PEGMA, FPMA using the slide glass was performed at 80 ˚C for 12h. The preliminary results for synthesis of surfaces coated PEGMA-co-PFPMA polymer will be discussed for various bio-application fields in this presentation. |
