제목 Fabrication of Polymer Colloid Patterns from Solution Processes
초록 Colloidal crystal patterns have been conventionally fabricated by lithography and etching. The study presents non-close packed colloidal patterns can be produced from a closed-packed colloidal monolayer by introducing various solvent pairs. The close-packed monolayer is first immersed in a good solvent to induce particle swelling. Second, a portion of good solvent is removed and the equivalent amount of non-solvent is added to the monolayer to induce the particle shrinkage, thereby producing non-close packed colloidal patterns. The good solvent-non solvent pairs can be selected by considering the Flory-Huggins interaction parameters. The optical properties of the patterns on various substrates are investigated for the application of this method.
