In the development of biomaterials as a substitute of damaged hard tissues, the biocompatibility and osteoconductivity of the biomaterial are considered to be one of the most significant considerations. As a potential candidate for the improvement of biological properties of materials, we synthesized calcium phosphate films on solid substrate in the presence of vitamin C and vitamin D3. In order to examine the cellular responses to the films, we utilized MSCs isolated from rat. MSC adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation to osteoblast were examined by controlling the surface properties. |
