Synthesis and characterization of biodegradable 70/30 poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide) Copolymer |
초록 |
In this study, random copolymerization of 70wt% of L-lactide and 30wt% of glycolide was conducted in bulk using Sn(Oct)2 as a catalyst over a wide range of temperature (from 180℃ to 200℃) and monomer to Sn(Oct)2 molar ratio(from 50ppm to 150ppm). We also used three different chain stopping agents to control molecular weight-Lauryl alcohol, Diethylene glycol (DEG), and Glycolic acid. The results were evaluated with regard to comonomer composition and conversion by means of 1H-NMR, and thermal properties with DSC. Molecular weights were determined by means of viscometry of polymer solution in chloroform and gel-permeation chromatography. Copolymers of L-lactide and glycolide were hydorolysed at 37℃ for periods up to 60 days. The surface morphology of samples was also examined with scanning electron microscope. |
