제목 Characterization of Nafion/TiO2 composite membrane prepared by in-situ sol-gel process for low humidifying PEMFC
초록 Nafion/TiO2 composite membrane is prepared by in-situ sol-gel process and characterized. During sol-gel process, the optimum composition for titanium-containing solution is determined: that is, 0.0025 mole Ti(OC4H9)4, 1.0 isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and 3.0 H2O. The composite membrane is obtained at every 24 hrs of sol-gel process by immersing Nafion membrane into titanium-containing solution. TiO2 nanoparticles formed inside the membrane and onto the surface of membrane are identified by XRD, SEM, EDS and FT-IR analyses. Water uptake, proton conductivity and tensile strength are evaluated and the cell performance using these membranes was measured under various relative humidities.
