제목 Synthesis of Biocompatible Magnetic Nanoparticles for Targeted Detection and Therapy
초록 The biocompatible multifunctional magnetic nanoparticles with reactive moieties were synthesized via a one-pot synthesis protocol. The effect of coupling agents and reaction time on controlling size of nanoparticles were studied. Their surface modification and composition were analyzed by FTIR and XPS, respectively. Using Mssbauer spectroscopy and a magnetometer, we have shown that these nanocrystals exhibit superparamagnetic behaviors. In addition, we have demonstrated that the nanocrystals were not significantly toxic, and hence are biocompatible.
