제목 Effect of Mesoporous Nanostructured Ni/MgAl2O4 Catalyst by Solid-State Method on Coke Formation of Steam Carbon Dioxide Reforming
초록 The steam carbon dioxide reforming (SCR) of methane. It is currently attracting attention in line with the global trend of carbon-neutral policies. In the Ni-based catalysts, the addition of Mg metal promoter was known as high catalytic stability because of enhanced resistance on coke formation. Furthermore, it can also affect the surface acidity-basicity of Ni-based catalysts. By forming a spinel structure of MgAl2O4, properties like thermal stability and surface acidity-basicity can be changed. And it affects the catalyst activity and low coke formation as well. In this study, MgAl2O4 support was manufactured by the solid-state method. Following that, Ni/MgAl2O4 catalysts were prepared by the incipient wetness impregnation method with various Mg/Al ratios. The prepared catalysts were characterized by N2 physical adsorption, H2-TPR, TGA, and XRD. The catalytic reaction was performed in a fixed bed reactor with a Steam/Carbon ratio of 2 under 750~850 oC, 10,000 h-1 of GHSV, and 1 bar.
