Most of the organic pigments used in color filters have an aromatic structure. Therefore, it is preferable that the dispersant for facilitating storage and use of the organic pigment inevitably contains an aromatic structure. NP (Nonyl phenol)-based surfactants have been used as representative organic pigment dispersants that show excellent performance in dispersing organic pigments. However, since NP-based substances are decomposed in the natural environment to secrete environmental hormone substances, a dispersant to replace them is absolutely necessary. In this study, a novel non-ionic surfactant that does not secrete environmental hormones in nature was synthesized, and surfactant properties were confirmed, and C.I. Pigment Blue 15:3 Dispersibility for organic pigments was evaluated. |
