제목 Multifunctional Nanoparticles Based on Hydrotropic Block Copolymer for Cancer Therapy and Imaging
초록 Hydrotropic block copolymer was investigated as the potential carrier of the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) agent and anticancer drug, paclitaxel (PTX). The results showed that PTX and oleic acid-coated superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles(OA-SPIONs) were successfully loaded into the hydrotropic polymer micelle. The encapsulated PTX was released from the micelles in a sustained manner. From in vivo study, it was evident that PTX- and OA-SPION-loaded hydrotropic polymer micelle were selectively accumulated into the tumor site after systemic administration. As a consequence, hydrotropic polymer micelle might have a potential as multifunctional nanoparticles for cancer imaging and therapy.
