제목 Fabrication of printable polymer filament materials for 3D printer by using compact extruder design
초록 We design a novel compact extruder for applicable 3D printer materials. This new extruder enables to impromptu polymer blending at any experiment conditions and allows to recycle waste thermoplastics. Its short screw(profile of pitch is 2) and additional heating zone not only can blends polymer continuously in a short time, but also reduce the processing costs. It can exchange the nozzle gauge when users want to control the diameter of polymer filament materials. The maximum temperature was stabilized up to 460°C. It means that this system applicable at wide range of polymer materials. We show many kinds of polymer pellets to filaments for 3D filament diameter of 1.75mm and suggest extruding conditions for homogeneous blending with this compact extruder. In a further study, we will make research on 3D printable electrical materials application by using compact extruder. Furthermore, blend functional rubbers as skin-like polymer materials.
