제목 A Study of the Physical and Electrochemical Properties of Carbon Foam reinforced by Graphene
초록 Porous carbon materials have received considerable attention due to their unique electrical conductivity, structural regularity, chemical inertness, mechanical and thermal stability, and large surface area. Very recently, reinforced carbon foams have been prepared by incorporating carbon nanotubes, silica, clay, and carbon fibers.
Graphene, which is a monolayer of carbon atoms arranged in a honeycomb network, has received significant attention due to its unique two-dimensional (2D) structure and superior mechanical and electrical properties.
In this work, macroporous carbon foams were synthesized using resorcinol-formaldehyde resin as a carbon precursor and PMMA latex particles as pore-generators with mean diameter 4 ~ 8 μm. Graphene was incorporated in the foams and the effect of addition amount of graphene on structure and performance of the carbon foams were studied.
