제목 Humidity-responsive 1D photonic crystal polymer films
초록 In this study, photo-crosslinkable high refractive index polymer and low refractive index polymer were synthesized by free radical polymerization. 1D photonic crystal polymer (1DPC) thin films were prepared by simple alternating spin-coating of high/low refractive polymers. Photonic stop band(PSB) of 1D PC films could be controlled through counter-anions and molecular size by modulation of the thickness and contrast of refractive index of each layers. In addition, the PSB of films could be tuned by in-situ quaternization of various alkyl hilide and aromatic halide without additional coating-fabrication. Exposing quaternized 1D PC film to relative humidity(RH) from 10 to 100%, the color of films was rapidly changed from violet to red and returned to the original state instantly after exposure to air. Real-time reflectance changes of the films were analyzed by UV-visible spectrometer.
