Graphene, a single layer of graphite has been focused on their extraordinary electronic transport properties. As methods for making graphene, chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and reduction of graphite oxide (GO) are widely being used now. But CVD is not good way for mass production and reduced graphite oxide (RGO) still have many defects after reduction. In this report, “direct” FriedelCrafts acylation reaction between graphite and polyether-ketones (PEKs) was used. By using this method, graphite’s edge was functionalized with PEKs. Through this reaction, we expect changing of PEK monomers to hyperbranched polymer. In addition to this reaction, successive sulfonation by using chlorosulfonic acid was processed to make good dispersibility in diverse materials. |
