제목 Synthesis and characterization of silicone-acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive using silicone-based macro-azo-initiator
초록 Acrylic pressure sensitive adhesives (Acrylic PSA) have advantages such as high adhesion, light transmittance, andlow cost, but have poor thermal stability and low adhesion to low surface energy substrates. In order to overcome the low adhesive force of the low surface energy substrate of the acrylic PSA, there is a method of surface treatment or lowering the surface energy of the PSA. However, in the case of surface treatment, the cost increases due to the additional process, and environmental problems occur. In order to improve the thermal stability of the acrylic PSA, a crosslinking method is most widely known. However, a high degree of crosslinking greatly reduces adhesive strength, and thus there is a limit. In this study, a silicone-based macro-azo-initiator was used to copolymerize with an acrylic monomer, and the thermal stability and adhesive properties change of the synthesized silicone-acrylic PSA were studied.
