제목 Adsorption Behavior of Various Amino Acids on Periodic Mesoporous Organosilicas (PMOs)
초록 Amino acids are of great importance in many fields, including solid-phase peptide synthesis, production of pharmaceutical, and biomedical sensors. These applications require amino acids to be placed in the form of well-ordered layers on the surface of solid by adsorption. PMOs have remarkable features, such as large surface area, tunable pore size, and modifiable surface properties. These features make PMOs a very promising adsorbent for amino acid. In this study, we prepared PMOs from BTES-biphenyl, BTES-benzene and BTMS-amine as precursors and investigated on their adsorption behavior of various amino acids as a guest material. We carried out the adsorption studies of amino acids on the PMOs under various conditions such as different kinds of PMOs as absorbents, various concentration of amino acids and pH. For amino acids, we tested glycine, L-lysine, and isoleucine. Adsorption of various amino acids on PMOs have been characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy using the ninhydrin reaction.
