제목 Effect on Hollow Glass Microsphere and Clay on Recycled Polypropylene Blends
초록 Recently, plastic waste has emerged as one of the most important environmental issues, such as climate change. There is a significant increase in interest in the recycling and reuse of plastics. Polypropylene (PP) has been widely used for last decade in various industrial field from automotive to consumer packaging because of its most commercial plastic. This study aimed to investigate the effect of clay and hollow glass microsphere (HGMs) on the recycled PP (rPP) with maleic anhydride grafted PP. The mechanical properties of rPP decreased by about 32% in tensile strength and 75% in elongation compared to Neat PP. It appears that a small amount of impurities and PE are mixed, and the mechanical properties were supplemented by adding a maleic anhydride grafted PP (MAH-g-PP). The rPP/MAH-g-PP blends with HGMs and clay were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermal gravimetric (TGA), rheometer and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), respectively.
