| 제목 | Photocatalytic activity of Au-deposited TiO2 nanoparticles(Au@TiO2) encapsulated by titanium oxide shell |
| 초록 | The deposition of noble metals on titanium dioxide is advantageous to improve the photocatalytic activity of TiO2.Because the deposited metal can act as a reservioir of photo-generated electrons that can enhance the interfacial charge-transfer process. In this report, we present the results for the deposition of nano-sized Au on the TiO2 nanoparticles (Au@TiO2) by the sonochemical reduction method. Au@TiO2 was further encapsulated by titanium oxide shell to reduce the oxidation of the deposited Au in the ambient condition. |
