Mechanical properties of poly(urethane acrylate)-silica hybrid interpenetrating polymer network(IPN) |
초록 |
The surface properties of organic-inorganic hybrid coating materials were studied using a nano scratch / indentation tester and a pencil hardness tester. The sol-gel reaction of inorganic part and the UV polymerization of organic part were applied to prepare hybrid IPN (Interpenetrating polymer network) materials. The hardness of the hybrid IPN materials with aging time was significantly improved with the increase of inorganic content since the condensation of inorganic part was further proceed. In this presentation, we will also report the correlation between the hardness measured using a nano indentation tester and pencil hardness in organic-inorganic hybrid IPN materials. |
