Promoted cobalt carbide based Fischer-Tropsch catalyst; Method for its preparation and applications |
초록 |
Generally, cobalt carbide have been known as an inactive material in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) reaction. Treatment of the reduced cobalt catalysts in pure carbon monoxide led to selective transformation of cobalt metallic phase to cobalt carbide phase. It have been confirmed that the carbidized cobalt catalyst did not show the catalytic performance in realistic FTS condition. After the hydrogenation of the carbide in pure hydrogen atmosphere, cobalt carbide led to cobalt metallic phase, which showed more active in FTS than the reduced cobalt metal phase from oxide form. Also, the carbidized cobalt catalyst was stable in the atmosphere without any chemical change, and had low activated temperature of about ~495K. |
