제목 Iron Oxide-Based Bimagnetic Core/shell Particles
초록 Rare earth based core-shell spring magnets are widely used in various fields such as permanent magnets and quaternary industry due to their excellent physical and magnetic properties, and potential applications. Generally, rare earth based core-shell spring magnets are composed of a hard magnetic phase and a soft magnetic phase. Also it perform exchange coupling and exhibit excellent magnetic properties compared to a single magnet. However, rare earth elements have a supply problem due to the limited amount of resource. In this study, we developed core-shell hard/hard magnetic composite powder that outperforms pure hard phase constituents. Importantly, this core-shell is iron oxide based (SrFe12O19 and ε-Fe2O3) and contain no rare earth or precious metals. This study shows the probability of producing iron oxide-based hard/hard magnetic core-shell composite powders.
