We report a series of highly efficient and soluble orange-red-emitting new heteroleptic Ir(III) complexes using the different positions of a substituent (CF3) in the phenyl ring, 4-phenyl-2-((trifluoromethyl)phenyl)quinolone derivatives, (o-CF3DPQ), (m-CF3DPQ) and (p-CF3DPQ) compounds as main ligands. Respectively It exhibits an excellent solid state photoluminescence quantum yield of 75% and high thermal stability Td(5% weight loss) of 302-364 oC The HOMO and LUMO of (m-CF3DPQ)Ir2(pic) were -5.6 and -3.1 eV Respectively. The orange Phosphoresent OLEDs were fabricated OLEDs with the configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/2.6-DCzPPy:TAPC:dopant/TmPyPB/LiF/Al. The Optimized Phosphoresent OLEDs showed impressive device performance with maximum luminance efficiency of 43.9 cd/A, maximum power efficiency of 22.98 lm/W and maximum EQE of 17.14%. |
