Robust Mineralized PEGylated Hyaluronic Acid Nanoparticles as Carrier for Cancer Therapy |
초록 |
Self-assembled hyaluronic acid (HA), nanoparticles have received attention as promising drug carriers for cancer therapy.Because HA can bind to CD44, a receptor over-expressed on various tumor cells, recent studies have focused on pharmaceutical applications of HA as drug carriers However, a major problem interrupting HA-based drug carriers in attaining the efficient therapy lies in their inability to overcome the preferential accumulation at the liver site. In this study, we prepared mineralized PEGylated hyaluronic acid nanoparticles (M-PEG-HA-NPs)using a PEGylated HA derivative in the presence of calcium nitrate and ammonium phosphate. The physicochemical characteristics of the mineralized nanoparticles were investigated using transmission electron microscope (TEM), dynamic light scattering (DLS), FT-IR spectroscopy, and zeta-potential analyzer. |
