In this study, we investigated the properties of ion conduction in NBR(acrylonitrile butadiene rubber) based polymer electrolytes doped with various lithium salts. We used NBR with high content of AN group(41%) which react with lithium cation and that reaction between AN group and lithium cation was confirmed by FT-IR. To enhance the mobility of lithium ion and reduce the high crystallinity of NBR due to its high content of AN group, we used an ionic liquid as a plasticizer. The effect of ionic liquid on plasticization of NBR based electrolytes was investigated by using SEM, DSC, XRD characterization methods. We observed that the crystallinity and Tg of NBR were decreased by increasing content of ionic liquid and found that the ionic conductivity of those electrolytes showed very stable behavior on conductivity. |
