제목 | The Effect of Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) Chemical Activation and CO2 Doping in Carbon Felt Electrodes of Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB) |
초록 | Redox Flow Battery (RFB) is one of the strong candidates for energy storage system (ESS). VRFB system uses VOSO4 / V2(SO4)3 for positive and negative electrolyte, respectively. In the study, the carbon felts were treated with various concentrations of KOH, followed by CO2 doping to improve the hydrophilicity. Also CO2 doping change the hydrophobicity to hydrophilic of the carbon felt. Cycle voltammetry (CV) and unit cell test were conducted performance of carbon felts as electrode.
