제목 A study of skin characteristics analysis method using skin optical simulation
초록 Recently, in the aftermath of COVID-19, the trend of cosmetics consumption is shifting to online shopping. Consequently, the development of efficient systems for non-face-to-face evaluation of skin characteristics and recommendation of customized cosmetics is needed more than ever before. Two-layers skin optical simulations using the Kubelka-Munk model (epidermal/dermis) can depict the skin spectrum. Using these techniques, the range of skin characteristic information for each part is designated, and actual skin characteristics are suggested through skin optical simulation. The tendency is identified by comparing the skin characteristics obtained by these models with the skin characteristics values measured with a Mexameter. As a result, the skin data measured by Mexameter and that estimated by the spectrum shows a proportional tendency. Our results provide a new direction for non-face-to-face skin examination technique which is deemed highly effective in the time of COVID-19 pandemic.
