제목 Identification and functional analysis of AfsR homologue regulatory gene from Streptomyces venezuelae 15439
초록 We have identified and characterized afsR homologue global regulatory gene, named afsR-sv, through genome analysis of Streptomyces venezuelae ATCC15439. The AfsR-sv, encoding 1056 aminoacids, exhibited sequence homology with AfsR from other streptomyces species. It showed 76% identity with AfsR-av from Streptomyces avermitilis MA 4680, 74% with AfsR-sp from Streptomyces peucetius ATCC 27952, 72% identity with AfsR-sc from Streptomyces coelocolor and 71% identity with AfsR-g from Streptomyces griseus. The expression of the gene in Streptomyces venezuelae ATCC 1439, Streptomyces peucetius ATCC 27952 and Streptomyces lividans showed the enhanced production of pikromycin, doxorubicin and actinorhodin, respectively.
