제목 Fabrication of radiation-resistant polymer nanocomposites
초록 In this study, low density polyethylene (LDPE)-based nanocomposites were fabricated to improve the radiation resistance of LDPE. LDPE nanocomposites prepared by a melt blending at different composition ratios were irradiated with gamma-rays up to 500 kGy. The irradiated nanocomposites were characterized by using a universal testing machine, a differential scanning calorimeter, a thermogravimetric analyzer, and a chemiluminescence analyzer. The results revealed that the prepared LDPE nanocomposites had a higher radiation resistance than the control LDPE.
