Multiblock copolymer micelles for drug delivery: design, characterization and biological significance |

Poly (L-lactide) (PLLA)-hypergranched polyglycerols(HBP)-PEG multiblock copolymers with tunable molecular weight have been synthesized by anionic ring-opening polymerizations of L-lactide initiated with HBP-PEG-HBP. The resulting polymers can self-assemble into varied micelles, which provide promising drug delivery systems with controllable release capacity for 5-fluorouracil. |
