제목 Synthesis of Brush Type Dendritic Polyglycidols and Their Usefor Controlled Drug Delivery
초록 A novel brush type dendritic polyglycidols have been prepared by the ring opening polymerization of glycidol in the presence of β-cyclodextrins (β-CD) inclusion complex as an initiator. The first step is the inclusion of β-CD and poly(propylene glycol) (PPG) in aqueous solution. The inclusion ratio between β-CD and PPG could be calculated by gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The second step is the polymerization of glycidol by using the hydroxyl groups on the surface of the complex, yielding brush type polymers. Based on the polymers above, a novel drug delivery system is constructed for controlled release of anticancer drug. The doxorubicin could be easily loaded into the polymer micelles fabricated by a self-assembly process. The sustained release test has been performed in vitro in various conditions, indicating intelligent controllability.
