Complex coacervation that mimics the characteristics of cells, is a simple, purely aqueous strategy for encapsulating proteins, drugs or nutrients. In this study, complex coacervates between catechol conjugated chitosan and heparin for encapsulating AAV were prepared and the properties analysis such as morphology, size and release kinetics of this delivery system were conducted. It has nano-sized particle shape and sustained release profile. And it can be injected by very fine syringe such as cannula tube. Because of these properties, this delivery system can be applied diverse medical field. |
