제목 Study of metal-terpyridine interaction for self-assembled photo-active polymers
초록 Photo-active polymer is one of the most important materials, because of its potential applications in the solar energy conversion and photo catalytic system. In this study, we synthesized and norbornene polymer containing terpyridine ligand and using ring-opening metathesis polymerization. The terpyridine ligand in co-polymer side group can be bind to metal ions (etc. Fe2+, Zn2+, Co2+, and Mg2+). In order to visible region absorption, we designed and synthesized the Ru(bpy)3-tpy which also can bind to metal ions due to terpyridine ligand. Herein, we confirmed the photocatalytic activity of Ru(II) complex by oxidative coupling of benzylamine to imine. And also, we made organogels using metal-ligand interaction, which organogels shown the photocatalytic activity.
