Hierarchically porous carbon membranes derived from polyacrylonitrile by electron beam irradiation and heat treatment |
초록 |
Porous carbon membranes have been used in various application fields, such as separation and desalination as well as energy storage and conversion, due to their outstanding properties. Porous carbon membranes are usually fabricated by heat treatment of porous polymer membranes. In this study, porous polyacrylonitrile (PAN) membranes were prepared by various phase separation methods. The prepared porous PAN membranes were irradiated with high energy electron beams at 200 kGy and then stabilized in air. The stabilized membranes were carbonized under inert atmosphere to obtain porous carbon membranes. The final porous carbon membranes were characterized in terms of their surface morphology, and electrical and electrochemical properties. |
