제목 Self-Assembled Nanoparticles of encapsulating Quantum Dots with Biotinylated Glycol Chitosan for Biological Imaging
초록 We have recently adopted fluorescent nanocrystal quantum dots(QDs) in polymeric micelles comparing with common organic dyes due to their strong intensity and stability. The encapsulation of the QDs with macromolecules such as glycol chitosan or lipid can preserve quantum yield and prevent cytoxicity, but generally adds a large volume to the QDs, resulting in a final size that may be bulkier than desired. In this experiment, we describe the synthesis of biotinylated glycol chitosan and the conjugation of QDs with polymers, followed by the formation of micelle and the development of in vivo imaging.
