제목 Thermal properties of paraffin/polyethylene composites as phase change material for thermal energy storage
초록 Thermal properties of composites of polyethylene and paraffin were investigated to evaluate the possibility of phase change to effectively use wasted heat above 80 °C. In such a composite, the paraffin serves as a latent heat storage material and polyethylene acts as supporting material and melting temperature controller to increase temperature. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were used to evaluate thermal properties and their morphology.
