In this study, nickel cobalt oxide (NCO) was bridged to a polymer dot (PD) to create a high-performance glucose detection sensor. PD's catechol and porous structure of NCO provided an electron transport pathway, enabling an effective electrocatalytic reaction for glucose detection. The developed PDs-NCO coated Nickel foam (NF) electrode exhibited a sensitivity of 806.17 μA mM-1 cm-2, a detection limit of 2.75 μM and good selectivity, at the detection range of 5 μM - 0.25 mM. Furthermore, we can easily monitor glucose on your smartphone using Bluetooth. The bridged NCO and PD represents a new approach to constructing a high-performance, non-enzymatic glucose sensor with low detection limits, high sensitivity and high selectivity. |
