Mussel-Inspired Hard Coating showing Antiscratching and Antibacterial Performance |

Mussel-inspired chemistry is unique chemistry of catechol-functionalized organic and nanomaterials and widely acceptable with the purpose of surface coating. In this study, highly silicated cluster molecule, POSS is catecholized through the sequential reactions. The resulting catechol-derivatzied POSSs show high antiscratching and antibacterial performance. The chemistry and smart coating performance of catecholized POSS will be highlighted in detail. 2016년 한국교통대학교 지원을 받아 수행하였음. |
