It was well known that core loss and overuse can be reduced by the control of shell thickness and composition in the core-shell structure. In this study, glass coated Fe core-shell with controlled xSiO2-(100-x)P2O5 (x=100, 90, 80 and 70) glass shell thicknesses were prepared by sol-gel method, and the change of the elution amount of core shell thicknesses were prepared by sol-gel method, and the change of the elution amount of core was observed. The core-shell was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), Fourier transform infrared absorption spectra(FTIR), and Transmition electron microscopy(TEM). In addition, pH meter and ICP-MS equipment were used to measure the amount of elution with pH change. When the amount of P2O5 increased in the glass system, the elution amount of core increased because of poor chemical durability of the shell, therefore we confirmed the core operating time was controlled by the shell composition and thickness. |
