Ce6-Encapsulated Hyaluronic Acid Nanoparticles for Photodynamic Therapy And Photodynamic Imaging of Tumor |
초록 |
Hyaluronic acid (HA) nanoparticles, showed a magnificent tumor targeting ability and therapeutic efficacy on tumor. They have shown prolonged circulation in the bloodstream by hydrophilic shell and they can effectively encapsulate a quantity of poorly water-soluble anticancer drugs or photosensitizers in their hydrophobic cores. The chlorin e6 (Ce6) for photodynamic therapy (PDT) can transfer energy to molecular oxygen, leading to generation of singlet oxygen or other reactive oxygen species. These unstable oxygen molecules can irreversibly damage to major cellular components. In addition, near-infrared fluorescence of Ce6 and tumor targeting ability of HA nanoparticles enable optical diagnostics In-vitro and In-vivo. They showed high tumor accumulation and therapeutic effects on the tumor site by a combination of passive and active targeting mechanisms. In conclusion, HA nanoparticles might have a promising potential as the tumor-targeting carrier for PDT. |
