제목 Synthesis of lignin-based polycaprolactone and its copolyester derivative for adhesive applications
초록 The chemical features of lignins can be used for polymerization reaction in adhesives. In this study, Kraft lignin-based copolyester for adhesive applications was prepared from sebacoyl chloride and Kraft lignin-based polycaprolactone (LigPCL). LigPCL was attached polycaprolactone by the polymerization of ε-caprolactone which was initiated by the hydroxyl group in lignin. The LigPCL-based copolyester improved thermal characteristics than that of pristine lignin with the glass transition temperature of about -16℃ and a molecular weight of 10500. Although the molecular weight should be further increased in the future, this product exhibited low the glass transition temperature and sticky property may fit for new applications of adhesives.
