제목 High Density Array of Silver Accordion Utilizing Block Copolymer Confinement for SERS Substrate
초록 We develop a novel method for a high density array of silver accordion nanorods by using self-assembly of block copolymer. First, polystyrene-block-poly (methyl methacrylate) copolymer (PS-b-PMMA) with 30nm domain space was confined inside cylindrical aluminum oxide (AAO) template modified by random brush of PS-ran-PMMA copolymer. Vertically oriented silver accordions with 15nm gap distance were formed for a large area(cm2) after removing AAO template, and selectively deposited 6nm thickness silver on PS domain. FDTD simulation showed larger field intensity enhancement than just silver deposited PS rods. We checked Raman signal of absorbed molecules on the substrate was 107 times enhanced for orders than reference, also 3 times than silver rods with low spatial distribution of 16.6 %.
