제목 | Electrodeposited AuCuM Trimetallic Catalysts with for Electrochemical Reduction of CO2 |
초록 | As the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere increases due to use fossil fuels, a global warming becomes a serious problem. Therefore, various studies have been conducted to reduce concentration of CO2. The electrochemical reduction of CO2 to high-value products has been received a great attention. The CO converted from CO2 is known to have the economic benefit due to its higher market price compared to other products. Au and Au-based catalysts are typically used for effective conversion of CO from CO2. In order to achieve highly active and selective conversion, the studies have been conducted to control intermediate adsorption by adding a different transition metal. Herein, AuCuM catalysts were directly fabricated on carbon paper substrate by using electrodeposition method. At a certain condition, the CO Faradaic efficiency of AuCuIn was achieved ~91 % at a potential of -0.6 VRHE. Furthermore, the AuCuM catalysts were investigated by comparing lattice parameter and XPS peak shift. |
