제목 Side-Chain Engineering of Non-fullerene Acceptors for Organic Solar Cells
초록 Organic solar cells (OSCs) have the potential for high manufacturing productivity due to their advantages on flexibility, lightweight, and transparent or colored substrates. Recently, power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) beyond 13% have been achieved from single-junction organic solar cells based on non-fullerene acceptors. Efforts have been mainly to optimize side-chain and backbone moieties to improve photovoltaic energy generation. In this presentation, we designed simple-structured non-fullerene small molecule acceptors. PTB7-Th was used as a polymer donor due to its complementary absorption and matched energy level profile with acceptors. The optical, thermal, and electrochemical properties of the acceptors were examined, and the correlations between molecular structures and device properties will be presented.
