Biobased shape memory polymer nanocomposite based on UV cured acrylated epoxidized soybean oil and halloysite nanotube(HNT) |
초록 |
Biobased shape memory polymer nanocomposite was synthesized from UV cure of biorenewable resources derived acrylated epoxidized soybean oil (AESO)/ tetrahydrofurfuryl acrylate(THFA) blend with varying contents of halloysite nanotube(HNT) from 0 to 7 wt%. The HNTs are chemically modified via silylation with 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl acrylate, and the modified HNTs were mixed with AESO/THFA blends using ultranoicator. The photocure behavior of the AESO/THFA/modified HNT mixture was examined by photoDSC. And, morphology and mechanical properties of the UV cured nanocomposites were characterized by TEM and dynamic mechanical analysis. The results revealed that HNTs are dispersed at nanometer scale in the matrix polymer, and mechanical properties and temperature-sensitive shape recovery were significantly improved. |
