Penetrating skin barrier is being studied by biological and industrial applications. In this study, we present an advanced strategy to self-assemblies designed to penetrate the skin barrier without damage. First, we synthesized poly(amino acid)s derivative substituted with octadecyl chains and cell-penetrating peptides. Trans-activator of Transcription (TAT) was used in this study to decorate the surface of the self-assembled nanoparticles. The morphology of self-assembled nanoparticles was controlled by the degree of substitution and confirmed through TEM images. By controlling the effect of the morphology of self-assembled nanoparticles penetrating on skin cells was confirmed through confocal images and fluorescence activated cell sorter.Overall, the new strategy to prepare the bio-inspired cell-penetrating nanoparticles would be useful to deliver effective ingredients in cosmetics into skin directly. |
