제목 | Synthesis of Multi-block copolymer based on poly(p-phenylene) for Use in Vanadium Redox Flow battery |
초록 | Hydrocarbon-based anion exchange membranes (AEM) have been extensively studied as alternative materials to the state-of-the-art perfluorosulfonic acid polymers such as Nafion, Aquvion. Because, the selectivity of PFSA-based membranes for balancing ions and active materials is too poor for use in VRFBs. In this study, the hydrocarbon-based multi-block copolymers for anion exchange material were synthesized by Ni(0)-catalyzed coupling polymerization, benzylic bromination and in situ quaternization, successively. In particular, the physical properties, chemical stability and VRFB performance of the synthesized membranes were investigated. |
