제목 Synthesis of nanosized seed-derived ferrierite zeolite for a gas-phase dimethyl ether carbonylation to methyl acetate
초록 The nanosized seed-derived ferrierite (FER) zeolite, synthesized without organic structure directing agents (OSDA), showed its highly crystalline structures and improved catalytic activity and stability for a gas-phase dimethyl ether (DME) carbonylation to MA. The crystallinity of nano-seed derived FER an optimal seed content (~7wt%) revealed a larger amount of Brønsted acid sites with smaller coke depositions. The larger amount of active Brønsted acid sites in the 8 membered-ring channels was originated from its highly crystalline structures by enhancing the CO insertion rate to form MA product.
