제목 The Microencapsulation of Eicosane with Polyurea Shells by Using Various Pairs of Monomers
초록 Paraffins are known as the most practical PCMs in the field of everyday-applications due to their cheapness, chemical stability, and relatively higher latent heat, which show no super-cooling and phase separation in comparison with inorganic salt hydrates. Eicosane that is a linear saturated hydrocarbon having 20 carbons in a molecule, is selected as a core material due to its range of melting point applicable for the temperature control of indoor life. The polyurea backbone of shell is aiming the hard and compact coverage of eicosane for the application to aqueous dispersion. Three kind of amines and isocyanates including aliphatic and aromatic carbon skeletons are selected as monomers for polyurea shell. The chemical structure of monomers, amount of surfactant, and the ratio of ingredient are analysed to study the effect on morphologies, particle size, and thermal properties of microcapsules.
