Synthesis of Bio-Based Silane Coupling Agents for Tire Tread and Comparison of Hydrolysis Characteristic under Acidic Conditions |
초록 |
Since silane coupling agents (SCAs) have two or more different reactive groups in a molecule, they act as covalently binding agents between organic and inorganic compounds, that are usually incompatiable. Bio-based thiocarboxylate silane compound, such as commercialized NXT, is an important coupling agent with cost-efficiency and environmental friendly for the high tire performances of tire materials. We designed and synthesized the new series of SCAs with aromatic linkages to ether and amides, which we compared to commercial SCA. New compounds were synthesized and fully characterized using 1H and 13C NMR, and evaluated the ability of coupling agents.
